WATER PARK (Main house)

Upstairs, we have thirteen bedrooms, ranging from two to five beds per room. Each room has single beds, under-bed storage, sinks and bed side cabinets. The configuration of bedrooms allows for a suitable split between males & females and the low numbers of single beds per room means clients can have a good night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

There is a toilet and shower in close proximity to each bedroom. Two of the bedrooms are wheelchair accessible and have a disabled toilet and shower close by, as well as lift access.

Downstairs there is a dining room, drawing room (lounge), library (small meeting room) washing up area, chill out areas and separate changing rooms. The main rooms all have wood burning stoves which provide a sociable focus for groups after a full day outside.

We only accept ONE residential group at a time so you can be assured you will not be sharing with another school.

CATERING ARRANGEMENTS

We are pleased to be able to cater for most dietary requirements but please note that we do require prior notice.

An important part of the Water Park philosophy is that groups eat together and take some responsibility for domestic arrangements. With this in mind, students will be expected to lay the tables, serve their piers food, clear tables at the end of the meal and do the washing up. 

Meal times are generally: Breakfast 08:00 | Dinner 17:30

Breakfast includes juice, cereal & toast, and can include a cooked breakfast on a limited number of days of your choice.

A menu will be sent during the booking process where you can make your selection of nutritious and succulent meals.

Our kitchen boasts some of the best catering equipment available and always achieves 5* Food and Hygiene ratings from food standards. Together with our excellent experienced and qualified kitchen team, you can be sure to experience some excellent meals.

Changing Facilities

The centre has purpose designed drying and changing rooms with showers and toilets. After an activity, guests can enter the house via the drying and changing rooms meaning you can be dry and clean upon entering the main house.

the grounds

Water Park is situated in 88 acres of mature grounds and woodland with one mile of shore line access to Coniston Water. 

The immediate area surrounding the house is kept pristine by our grounds team and consists of some garden spaces, large lawn, open fields, walled garden area, high & low ropes challenges and 44 acre woodland.
