  • 2020 Trainee Tutors

    We are now looking for a number of new trainees to join us in January 2020.  If you are over 18 years of age and looking to start or develop your career in outdoor education, this is the opportunity for you.  Go to the download section of the website and look for job vacancies.  See a quick video of the sort of opportunities you will get.  Good luck.

  • Walled garden pond

    1st June 2019

    The pond in the walled garden has been re-instated.  The new pond is gradually getting colonised by mini beasts and will make a great additional activity for groups operating from the kennels environmental classroom.

  • Housekeeping team

    We now have a full house keeping team.  Kaileigh, Emma, Dawn and Becca are the team who keep the building looking immaculate.

    We are currently seeking someone to join our housekeeping team.  Our dedicated and hardworking team are responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness around the centre.  This permanent position involves Monday and Friday work.  Further details can be found HERE and them click on the “job vacancies tab”

  • Mental Health First aid course

    3rd January 2019

    12 of the staff attended a Mental health first aid course over two days, just before Christmas.  We are all now trained in recognising and assisting people who may have a variety of mental health conditions.  Details of the course content can be found here: .

  • Staff changes

    3rd January 2019

    Anne (housekeeper) retired from Water Park at Christmas.  She enjoys working here so much that she is coming back on a part time basis to cover holidays & sickness for the rest of the team.

    April (assistant tutor) finished her third year with us at Christmas and is now working for a local special school.  She is now bringing her own school groups to the kennels for woodland sessions.

    Abigail and Ed are both staying on for a second year as trainee tutors.  Jack will join us in early January as our next new trainee.
