Water Park can now offer the John Muir Award. The environmental award aims to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to discover, explore & conserve wild places. The John Muir Award can be set up as a project on its own or it can be run alongside your week's activities. If you choose to, Water Park could offer a half day conservation session as part of the residential week. Please contact us if you would like to participate. With the development of the old kennels building into our art/environmental classroom we are now able to offer a variety of art/environmental inputs into our activity sessions.
We aim to develop the individuals understanding & appreciation of the natural environment by raising their awareness of the flora & fauna of the area, whether this is by stream dipping for mini-beasts or using plant keys. The old kennels is equipped with a whole host of art/environmental materials to facilitate this work. LAND USE STUDIES Visit a local hill sheep farm. LANDFORM STUDIES Rivers
