The Eric Wright Trust

THE ERIC WRIGHT TRUST PURCHASED THE WATER PARK ESTATE IN MARCH 1998 AND CONVERTED THE FORMER MANSION HOUSE INTO A RESIDENTIAL OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CENTRE.

The Trust wishes to support any young people who are in financial need; teachers and leaders are encouraged to contact Water Park about such needs. The Trust can subsidise any young people who cannot afford the cost of a residential course at Water Park.

The Eric Wright Trust’s philosophy is that residential and adventurous activity experiences have a significant impact on the personal development of young people and should be available to all, regardless of their financial, social or physical background.

Leaders who are hoping for financial assistance need to have specific educational, social and/or personal development aims, which match the Water Park ethos.

As part of it’s philosophy the Eric Wright Trust subsidises Water Park to keep fees at an affordable level, and it also expects all young people and/or their families to contribute as fully as each individual is able towards their fees.

The school, club or organization need to exhaust all other possible sources of funding, only when this has been done can it approach The Eric Wright Trust who may contribute additional finance to support groups of young people on courses at Water Park.
